New Music – March 2016

UGH! - The 1975

It was really hard to narrow the list down this time, mostly because it’s been a while since I had a new music post and I wanted to share everything. But if you’re ever wondering what new songs I’m listening to, you can follow me on Spotify. Just FYI, some of these songs and videos have explicit content.

1. Crush – Yuna feat. Usher

I had never heard of Yuna before this song, but she’s so good. Usher’s voice adds the perfect touch to it.

2. Lush Life – Zara Larsson

This song is not new, but it’s pretty new to me. I’ve been loving Zara Larsson ever since I discovered her music about a month ago. She’s so good! See also: Never Forget You and Girls Like

3. YOUTH – Troye Sivan

If you haven’t heard of Troye Sivan, you should definitely take a listen. I couldn’t decide between putting this song or FOOLS on the list because they’re both my favorites of his.

4. Don’t Wanna Fight – Alabama Shakes

I started listening to Alabama Shakes after I saw them at the Grammy’s this year. They are SO good. I love their style.

5. Remember Me – Jacob Latimore

I love this song so much because it’s got that early 2000’s R&B sound that I love. There’s not enough of that these days! See also: Climb

6. Rock Wit Me – Trevor Jackson (feat. IAMSU!)

I love this song so, so much! Another R&B song with an older sound to it.

7. Once In A While – Timeflies

I love Timeflies, but their music is so all over the place that you never know what to expect from them next. But I love almost everything they put out.

8. Suffer – Charlie Puth

I really love Charlie Puth’s smooth voice. His album is pretty good and this song is on it, but it’s not really new. There’s a really good remix of it though here.

9. Work From Home – Fifth Harmony feat. Ty Dolla $ign

I’m a big fan of Fifth Harmony and this song and video are so fun.

10. Work – Rihanna (feat. Drake)

I haven’t listened to Rihanna’s entire new album yet, but I do love this song and Needed Me. She never disappoints.

11. Don’t Get No Betta – Timbaland feat. Mila J

This song sounds like’s straight out of the early 2000’s!

I was never a fan of One Direction, so I didn’t care that he went solo. But I do love this song and I’ve been so hooked on it. Something about it just draws me in. This parody, by the way, is so hilariously accurate.

13. Sorry To Interrupt – Jessie J, Jhene Aiko, Rixton

Where was I when this song came out last year? I love all 3 of these artists and was pretty surprised to see them on a song together.

14. Something New – Zendaya feat. Chris Brown

I LOVE the TLC “Creep” sample in this song!

15. UGH! – The 1975

The 1975 has a new album out called ‘I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it’ and it’s so awesome. Just in time for spring and summer!

  • I love Alabama Shakes, awesome playlist!

    • I do too! And thanks šŸ™‚

  • So much good music! I really like the 1975 album! And I’m obsessed with Pillowtalk, but don’t like many other from Zayn’s album. I feel like Fifth Harmony is underrated and it’s a shame. They are crazy talented. I think I need more Charlie Puth in my life!

  • Awesome choices! I wasn’t a fan of Zayn’s new music at first, and now I have to admit that I have his album haha and I love that new Zendaya song!
